Anteon to support Army health

Army officials have chosen Anteon International to support the Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) Program Office. The five-year contract could be worth up to $117 million, according to Anteon officials.

Anteon personnel will provide program management and services for all phases of the MC4 program. The program itself provides integrated medical, information technology and communications solutions for Army medical care.

While Anteon gets many Defense Department contracts, this one is strategically important because "it broadens the scope of our IT support within the healthcare services sector," said Anteon Chief Operating Officer Dan Johnson.
