SRA Wins $97M FAA contract

SRA International announced today that it was awarded a $97 million contract to support a Transportation Department operation that has become a cross-agency financial management services provider.

The six-year contract was awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations contract. SRA will support the DOT Federal Aviation Administration Enterprise Services Center’s Financial Management Line of Business Center of Excellence.

The Enterprise Services Center, based in Oklahoma City, was recently designated a cross-agency financial management services provider, according to SRA. The organization has provided services to federal agencies including the Education Department, the Air Force, the Coast Guard, the Social Security Administration and entities within DOT.

SRA will work with the Enterprise Services Center to craft a strategic plan for the Center of Excellence and a framework for delivering projects. SRA will deploy enterprise resource planning solutions using Oracle Federal Financials.

SRA’s team on the contract includes IBM, Spectrum Solutions Group and Vigotsky and Associates.

Spectrum Solutions Group has an Oracle consulting practice. Vigotsky and Associates was founded by Tim Vigotsky, who was formerly the director of the Interior Department’s National Business Center. The National Business Center hosts DOI-wide financial and procurement applications, among others.
