David Zeppieri, the Transportation Security Administration's chief information officer, has resigned for personal reasons after working for a year at the troubled agency. No replacement has been named, but Joe Parks, once TSA's acting deputy CIO, is the agency's acting CIO for now.

Retired Air Force Reserve Col. Janice Manijak Morrow has been named director of strategic initiatives at Sentel.

Virginia Gov. Mark Warner has appointed Maloy Jones, vice president of global sales and client solutions in EDS' Government Solutions unit, to the board of directors for Virginia's Innovative Technology Authority and Center for Innovative Technology.

Rita Reed was named the principal deputy assistant secretary of management at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Tom Mazich has joined SAS Americas as vice president of U.S. Government Operations.
