Telos wins Defense messaging contract

Telos has landed a contract to support messaging systems at the Pentagon Telecommunications Center. Awarded through the Air Force’s Network Centric Solutions indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, the contract is valued at a minimum of $18 million, but could be worth up to $34 million if all options are exercised.

The center acts as a Defense Message System service provider for Army installations, the White House and other government entities. Telos will support the integration, operation and maintenance of the messaging systems operating at the center, according to Telos. Those systems include the Automated Message Handling System, which is a product of Telos’ Xacta security solutions subsidiary.

Joining Telos on the contract are four services subcontractors: Data Systems Analysts, the Experts, Ice Communications and 3S Group.

Telos has provided similar support to the center for the past two years, according to the company.
