Kilgore to join Coalition for Government Procurement

Greg Kilgore, director of government affairs at Sprint Nextel, is joining the Coalition for Government Procurement as vice president of policy. Kilgore will start his new job Jan. 9, 2006, according to a coalition announcement.

Kilgore has worked for Sprint for 13 years in federal and state government roles. His experience there involved him in government policy issues including taxes, human resources and contracting issues.

He also brings Capitol Hill experience. Before joining Sprint, he served on the minority staff of the House Government Operations Committee, which is now the powerful Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.).
