SI International names Reimer to board

Retired Army Gen. Dennis Reimer has been appointed to SI International’s board of directors.

Reimer will stand for election to the board at the company’s 2006 annual meeting in June. As the former Army chief of staff, Reimer set the Warfighter Information Network into motion in the mid-1990s. He retired from the Army in 1999.

Since then, he has served as director of the National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism. In 2005, he was named president of DFI Government Services. That company focuses on intelligence, homeland security and data management, among other fields.
