GCN tech brief

Business Process Management software provider Metastorm Inc. of Baltimore has received Evaluation Assurance Level 2 Common Criteria Certification for its Metastorm e-Work, version 6.6.1. The company claims that this product is the first BPM application to receive such a certification. BPM involves automating an information-handling routine, such as routing travel request forms through an office. Such workflows may have multiple branches, depending on the actions that needed to be taken.
