SiloSmashers gets new VP of business development

Bob Golas, a 35-year veteran of the information technology business, has joined SiloSmashers as vice president of business development. He comes to the company from Savi Technology, where he had the same title.

He will identify and secure new federal sales opportunities and will report to Bruce Higgins, senior vice president of business development.

Golas has won Federal Computer Week's Federal 100 Award. He has also won honors from the Association for Federal Information Resource Management, and the Industry Advisory Council Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contributions.

Golas chairs IAC's Homeland Security Protection Liaison Committee and the Radio Frequency Identification Committee. He previously was IAC chairman and vice chairman of the Homeland Protection Shared Interest Group.
