Plexus names new president, chairman of the board

Plexus Scientific has named Raymond Fatz the company's new president and chief executive officer and Mike Walker the new chairman of the board of directors.

Fatz has more than 36 years' professional experience in various headquarters and field assignments in the Department of the Army, ensuring compliance and developing and advocating Army policies for environmental, safety and occupational health programs.

Walker has served on three other boards of directors and as Plexus' former senior vice president. He has also held several senior positions in the federal government, including acting secretary of the Army, undersecretary of the Army, assistant secretary of the Army, undersecretary of veterans affairs and deputy director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Walker also worked as a congressional staffer for more than 25 years.
