Brasseux becomes FAS acting deputy commissioner

Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Jim Williams announced today the appointment of Barnaby "Barney" Brasseux as FAS acting deputy commissioner. He started Feb. 1.

Brasseux will serve until a permanent selection is made. He will continue in his current position as FAS assistant commissioner for travel, motor vehicles and card services. The position is vacant after former Deputy Commissioner Marty Wagner retired Jan. 31.
