American Systems appoints acquisition, logistics strategic business VP

American Systems, an employee-owned government information technology solutions provider, announced today the appointment of J.R. "Rick" Hundley to the position of vice president of the Acquisition and Logistics Strategic Business Area.

Before joining American Systems, Hundley was president and chief operating officer of SAFRAN USA, a subsidiary of the SAFRAN Group. Prior to working at SAFRAN, he held several senior positions, including vice president of sales and marketing for a division of Lockheed Martin, chief executive officer and COO for General Dynamics Product Support and Services Company, and vice president of international sales and marketing for General Dynamics Land Systems. He also was chief operating officer at Nisco.

American Systems named three other strategic business area leaders earlier this month.
