Wilkerson appointed VP in Robbins-Gioia division

Guy Wilkerson has been appointed vice president of business development in Robbins-Gioia's Defense Division.

Wilkerson brings 26 years of experience in the government information technology industry to his new role.

Wilkerson joins Robbins-Gioia from Sun Microsystems where he was regional executive manager for Sun's Defense Department. He was responsible for developing tactical and strategic sales opportunities for all DOD business in the United States.

Before joining Sun, Wilkerson was part of the DOD Business Development team for Oracle Defense Operations, covering a range of sales initiatives. Wilkerson began his career at Honeywell Information Systems in 1980.
