A younger, hipper 'Fore!'

It was golf the Young AFCEAN way.

Yes, baseball may be the national pastime, but the government information technology community’s pastime of choice is arguably golf.

The Young AFCEAN Committee of AFCEA International’s Bethesda, Md., chapter hosted its third annual golf tournament this month at Reston National Golf Course in Reston, Va. More than 120 government and industry participants golfed for a cause.

The event raised more than $22,000 for the AFCEA Bethesda Scholarship Fund.
