Letter: Sen. Clinton just wants to make good appearance

Regarding “Clinton:AlaskaNative firm may have gotten unfair bonus,” Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) gets money from the Fed to rent a cottage back to the Fed for use by Secret Service personnel.

Now she is running for president and wants to make a good showing. If this was started in 2003, how come it took so long for her to catch these oversights? I think it is just that she needs to make the public think she is smart and a spend-conscious senator instead of getting as much as she can for little or nothing.
