Office of Personnel Management Director Linda Springer has named Kevin Marshall as director of the Federal Executive Institute, the federal government’s center for executive development.


Marshall is director of the Coast Guard Leadership Development Center, where he has worked with employees to increase student enrollment. He also conceived, developed and implemented an enterprisewide, Web-based leadership tool.


Marshall’s previous work experience includes several Coast Guard positions, including chief of staff of the Coast Guard’s Eighth District. In that position, Marshall was responsible for the district’s operations, administration and strategic planning.
