Bush to nominate new SBA IG

President Bush today announced that he intends to nominate Carol Dillon Kissal to be inspector general of the Small Business Administration and Joseph Benkert as assistant secretary of Defense for global security affairs. 


Kissal currently is deputy director of resource management at the District of Columbia Department of Transportation. Previously, she was corporate treasurer at Amtrak. Earlier in her career, she was a program financial analyst at IBM. 

Benkert currently is principal deputy assistant secretary of Defense for global security affairs. Previously, he was deputy director of the Defense Reconstruction Support Office for in Washington. Earlier in his career, he was deputy and chief of operations for the Coalition Provisional Authority in the Washington office.
