Lucey has been known as a “go-to guy” throughout his more than 40 years serving the federal information technology market. Colleagues and customers know that when there is a government need that must be met quickly and efficiently, they can rely on Lucey. He has built a reputation for strong customer support.

For example, he helped arrange the Army purchase of Army Knowledge Online portal of the VIDITalk video e-mail system, which allows service personnel overseas to receive family video e-mails.
 
“Time and time again, Lucey has demonstrated his commitment to helping the government deliver critical and sorely needed capability to help defend our country,” said Gary Winkler, Army Program Executive Officer, Enterprise Information Systems. “He continues to be an invaluable partner and resource, especially in clutch situations.”

Lucey’s multifaceted career includes stints in the Peace Corps in Africa, on board the hospital ship HOPE, and as an active member of 14 nonprofit boards.
