DOD gets new official for business integration

Elizabeth McGrath has been reassigned to the position of assistant deputy chief management officer in the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer at the Defense Department, DOD said.

The reassignment was announced April 1. Previously McGrath was the assistant deputy undersecretary for business integration at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics.

McGrath helped implement Lean Six Sigma, a total quality management-type of business methodology, in her previous position at DOD, according to the department.
