China is developing cyber weapons, state-run television says

In a recent state-run documentary China showed a video clip that demonstrated its ability to "target" and "attack"  a U.S.-based website, the Washington Post reports.

The six-second video showcases the country's sophisticated use and development of cyber weaponry and featured a top Chinese military researcher who argued for the nation's ability to attack and defend its networks, the article said.

The documentary named "The Cyber Storm Has Arrived" showed a military computer program that was able to launch a cyberattack totally undetected.
