HUD's Niedermayer retiring

Chris Niedermayer, deputy CIO for business and IT modernization at the Housing and Urban Development department is retiring effective Dec. 2. Sources confirmed Niedermayer's plans.

Niedermayer has been a key player in HUD CIO Jerry Williams' efforts to improve HUD's track record in managing IT projects.

According to DorobekInsider, Niedermayer's retirement ends a 33-year career in the government.
