Hackers claim take-down of DOJ website

Hackers claim to have shut down the Justice Department's website after federal authorities shut down a website allegedly used to illegally share digital media, such as movies and television shows, according to several news outlets.

The hacker group known as Anonymous went after the websites of DOJ and, through Twitter and other outlets, announced it would target the White House, FBI, the U.S. Copyright Office and the Motion Picture Association of America, the Washington Post reports.
