Jay H. Nussbaum
Vice Chairman and Co-Founder
Agilex

The work: Supporting government customers in the adoption of mobile device strategies and agile development methodologies.

The impact: Under Nussbaum’s leadership, Agilex helped the federal government begin the transition to challenging but imperative new software development techniques and IT management strategies.

The nuts and bolts: Nussbaum and his team provided the know-how for the Veterans Affairs Department’s first successful pilot of agile software development for a claims-processing system under the new GI Bill. They also helped VA extend the core capabilities of its electronic health record system to mobile devices and helped Customs and Border Protection develop a private cloud environment.
