Securing the technology supply chain. A lack of insight into the processes and practices used to create and deliver the hardware and software they procure has increasingly put agencies at risk of acquiring products whose quality or security has been compromised. Fortunately, Boyens led a team that developed a set of standardized, repeatable practices to help federal agencies manage risks to their information and communications technology supply chain in the face of rapid technological evolution. The achievement is a direct result of his leadership, technical acumen, and tireless engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
