Mary Davie

Name: Mary Davie
Title: Acting Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service
Agency: General Services Administration

Leadership in a crisis. Davie stepped into the role of acting FAS commissioner when GSA was recovering from a conference-spending fiasco. She was instrumental in helping Acting Administrator Dan Tangherlini lead a top-to-bottom review at GSA and continued working to support his ongoing efforts to reconfigure the agency. She served as acting commissioner until Tom Sharpe took on the job in 2013.
