Federal 100: Kevin Dulany

Kevin Dulany

Name: Kevin Dulany
Title: Network Security Engineer
Agency: Department of Defense

FedRAMP pioneer. Dulany played a crucial role in ensuring that DOD is a player in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. He took leading roles in DOD's cloud computing and continuous monitoring efforts, dedicating more than half his time to FedRAMP design efforts. In the end, his work led to the initial FedRAMP cloud offerings suitable for DOD. He also spearheaded the development of a strategy that will turn DOD's security monitoring from a point-in-time checklist to something closer to real-time reporting. Colleagues say the impact of both aspects of his work is nothing short of astounding.
