Title: Senior Executive Adviser for Identity Management
Agency: National Institute of Standards and Technology

ID management innovator. Grant directs the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace National Program Office at NIST, which he established from the ground up. He took the vision and principles embodied in NSTIC and translated them into solutions that will be deployed in the marketplace. In 2012, the office awarded $9 million in grants to test innovative identity solutions and held multiple workshops to build support from stakeholders in all sectors. Grant’s ability to facilitate dialogue and inspire action among NSTIC’s complex and diverse community of stakeholders has been the key to NSTIC’s success.
