Sonny Hashmi

Name: Sonny Hashmi
Title: Deputy CIO and Chief Technology Officer
Agency: General Services Administration

Cloud expander. Hashmi tackled the challenges by assembling a team of technical, business and change-management experts from GSA and the private sector. The new platform, called GSAConnect, now forms the core of all the agency’s operations. It connects people, content, knowledge, business processes and data, while saving millions of taxpayer dollars.
