DOD's change agent. Brown is the point man on the Pentagon's data center consolidation efforts, and he is the department's liaison for the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative. He also ensures that efforts are synchronized with the Joint Information Environment and Enterprise Software Initiative. He has established policy on consolidation and completed a comprehensive data center inventory, but colleagues say it is his strong communication skills and diplomacy that make him successful in effecting change.
