Procurement perfecter. With only three months to formulate and award NGA's first software contract for the entire intelligence community, Cecere aligned the agency's software asset management operations with the Intelligence Community IT Enterprise Strategy and collapsed multiple software agreements into a single contract. She worked long hours to understand NGA's licenses and researched many of the other intelligence agencies' holdings. The resulting contract saved $1 million in maintenance renewals in just eight months, and NGA leaders say it will serve as a model for other agencies to emulate.
