Name: Emery Csulak

Changing the cybersecurity game. Csulak has added to his agency's arsenal of cybersecurity weapons. Recognizing that Federal Information Security Management Act measures were limited, he fashioned an operational security model that builds on the National Institute of Standards and Technology's work. The result was an operational security pilot program that the Office of Management and Budget adopted in a game-changing effort that goes beyond the federal security status quo. DHS' inspector general hailed the program as a transition from a static paperwork-driven system to a dynamic framework for risk-based security information on demand.
