Title: Assistant Commandant for C4IT and Commander
Agency: Coast Guard Cyber Command, U.S. Coast Guard

Two for one. Day is a multitasker's multitasker, even by Washington standards. He leads two major programs, either of which would be a handful. He established the Coast Guard Cyber Command and oversaw the service's move to the Department of Homeland Security's St. Elizabeths campus. For the move, he had to make sure command, control, communications, computers and IT capabilities for 1,400 employees remained in ship shape. As leader of the Coast Guard Cyber Command, he supported ground-up development of critical infrastructure operations.
