Keeping the council running. At a time when agencies are being pressured to stay ahead of the technology curve, Hughes has reinvigorated the CIO Council. "Adam has led efforts that have successfully realigned and transformed the operations of the CIO Council to drive the implementation of the priorities of the federal CIO Council and federal CIO community writ large," said Lisa Schlosser, deputy associate administrator in the Office of E-Government and IT at the Office of Management and Budget. "Based on his results, there is now a line of sight from these priorities, through the budget, to results."
