Keeping projects agile. McCrosson focuses on building tools to facilitate the delivery of federal IT projects and in particular has championed the agile approach to project management. He was a key contributor to OMB's modular development guidance that outlined best practices for acquiring and managing IT systems. Since then, he has worked on a data-driven model to identify cost savings in mobile procurement strategies while keeping tabs on agency IT spending. His fans credit his leadership, can-do attitude and analytical skills with setting a new standard for excellence at OMB.
