U.S. Cyber Command should be elevated to a full combatant command as soon as possible, the head of Strategic Command told Congress, but it cannot be separated from the NSA until it has its own cyber platform.
Hey Sequestration was the president's idea in the first place and he even signed it into law. Now the Senate is balking at that law. Wish I could decide which laws I wanted to obey like they do. The Senate needs to go back to a 2 year term like they were before the 17th amendment. When you have to answer to voters every two years, you are more likely to represent what they want. At 6 year intervals, senators are playing on the very real likelihood the people will have forgotten their shenanigans (like Ted Cruz, like Harry Reid) and they get reelected.
Why is it that the Senate never does anything, but it is the House that is at fault (in the media)? I wonder what new pet funding project the president wants implemented and the House is not creating a funding bill for it, and thus we see nothing else gets addressed by the Senate until they see that one funding bill. Yes, I know, I am cynical when it comes to politicians.

Looks like the House is doing its job. Where the heck is the Senate??
And these guys are getting paid more than most of us?!?! Not only do they only have 10 work days in September, they have less than that for the remainder of the year. Budget?? Immigration reform?? Minimum wage?? Infrastructure development?? Forget all that stuff; they're worried about a law suit against the president for not implementing fast enough a program they tried to repeal more than 50 times. How about if the people sue Congress for not doing their job.
