But it's what he does off the clock that makes him a premier ambassador for the federal IT community and a role model for aspiring government techies. As president of the American Council for Technology, he oversaw the makeover of the well-attended ACT-IAC Executive Leadership Conference. "He has inspired many other leaders to get involved in improving government outside of their day jobs," said former IAC Chairman Jim Williams.
