Data analytics in the cloud. Dyson is using the cloud to bring capabilities to the SEC that are on par with those of any firm in the financial services industry. In 2016, she partnered with Amazon Web Services to develop a next-generation analytics platform for SEC analysts so they could more effectively regulate financial markets now and in the future. As a result, the SEC is on course to be one of the first federal agencies with a modern analytics platform in the cloud, and soon its analysts will be able to study market trends going back years instead of months.
