Defending DODIN. DOD’s networks are some of the biggest cybercrime targets in the world, so defending them is no small job. Yet in one year, Giangrasso created a framework to segment and reduce the networks’ attack surfaces; led the effort to provide a repeatable, scalable process that enables network defenders to develop meaningful analytics; and spearheaded development of U.S. Cyber Command’s Defensive Cyber Operations Strategic Guidance and its Sensing Strategy — both of which provide insight into conducting operations in cyberspace. Not bad for someone with no previous experience with the IT community.
