Warrior retraining. Giddens is a key leader for the MyVA program, which is transforming the way VA provides services to veterans. He works tirelessly to promote industry engagement and offers practical myth-busting ideas to help the department modernize its systems. Under his leadership, the $22 billion Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contracts for IT solutions were successfully awarded. Giddens also led the expansion of the Warriors to Workforce Program, which trains veterans to work in all types of acquisition, including IT. Other agencies are now using the VA’s program to help fill their acquisition positions.
