Acquisition innovator. Johnson drove ACT-IAC’s Acquisition of the Future initiative in 2016, serving as the center of activity for a number of government-led pilot projects that demonstrated the promise of acquisition transformation. Johnson worked to incorporate the program into multiple events and bring it before the Section 809 Panel, which is looking for ways to streamline and codify acquisition regulations at the Defense Department. Her perseverance and organization were indispensable to the success of the initiative as it matured into an ongoing community of procurement innovation for government and industry.
