Placeholder

Name: Douglas Maughan
Title: Director, Cyber Security Division, Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency
Agency/Company: Department of Homeland Security

Quick to innovate. When he took over the newly created Cyber Security Division in 2010, Maughan had a team of two. Today, he manages 45 people and a $90 million budget focused on developing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. He has guided more than 40 information security products to market, and as executive director of DHS’ Silicon Valley Innovation Program, last year he fast-tracked the contracting of new technology projects in as little as 10 days. He also oversaw the launch of the Cyber.gov program to help agencies further improve their cybersecurity posture.
