2018 Fed 100

Federal 100: Glenn Davidson

Name: Glenn Davidson
Title: Executive Director of Enterprise Services
Agency: Department of Commerce

Shared-services success story. Davidson made significant progress on the most mature shared-services program in the federal government. He set up a program management office to oversee Commerce’s enterprise services operations and presented a convincing case to his boss, Secretary Wilbur Ross, to enrich and expand the program. The Office of Management and Budget has recognized Davidson for his governmentwide leadership on shared services, and he speaks frequently on the topic to external organizations, including the Shared Services Leadership Coalition and the Partnership for Public Service’s Shared Services Roundtable.
