In the cybersecurity realm, he synchronized efforts in support of the Army's implementation of the Defense Department's Cybersecurity Scorecard, and his leadership was instrumental in helping the Army's lead sister services with overall compliance and operational risk mitigation. In addition, Papenfus helped formulate action plans for the Army's role in hurricane relief, ensuring quick and effective response to new developments.
