Steering Silicon Valley to government. Plenty of people talk about the importance of bringing new industry partners and their cutting-edge technologies into the federal space. Ashton does the heavy lifting. A former White House staffer, he took over Dcode’s accelerator programs at the beginning of 2018 and by year’s end had shepherded 43 companies into the federal market. Those efforts took many forms — from agency introductions to messaging advice to demystifying the procurement process — but the dividends were clear. Over those 12 months, there were 39 implementations of “Dcode company” technologies across government.
