Reimagining health IT. Scholl leads the ninth-largest health IT company in the U.S., and his responsibilities encompass the Leidos Partnership for Defense Health, which is spearheading the $4.3 billion electronic health record program known as MHS Genesis. In 2018, Scholl’s team advanced a number of other critical programs. The Decision Ready Claims process at the Department of Veterans Affairs, for example, is now delivering decisions in less than nine days instead of 120. Scholl is also steering efforts to help the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tackle the opioid epidemic, limit the spread of HIV/AIDS and use data analytics to improve health care outcomes.
