2020 Fed 100

Federal 100: Gary Wang

Name: Gary Wang
Title: Vice President, Cloud and Infrastructure Services
Organization: Unisys Federal Systems

Cloud and cyber whisperer. Many federal agencies rely on Wang’s assistance in applying cloud services to IT modernization efforts. Under his leadership, Unisys Federal won 13 major new cloud contracts in 2019 to modernize federal IT services with cost-effective and transformative technologies. Wang also worked with the Professional Services Council to help the government address cybersecurity challenges, including implementation of the Defense Department’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. His success stems from a unique understanding of how technology trends support mission needs and a talent for knowing when emerging technologies will truly help federal clients. (Unisys Federal was acquired by SAIC earlier this year.)
