Name: Nicolas Chaillan
Title: Chief Software Officer
Organization: Department of the Air Force

Coding for the Future. One of Chaillan’s key missions when he became the Air Force’s first chief software officer was to bring rapid, secure, iterative software solutions to the service. He has succeeded by helping the Air Force onboard developers and spearheading Platform One, which brings together the talents of the service’s software factories and helps deploy accredited code to warfighters. His vision and persistence fueled Platform One’s implementation of DevSecOps at sonic speed for the Air Force, Space Force and Defense Department. The Navy’s Black Pearl and the Army’s software factories are the latest to leverage the platform.
