Name: Portia Crowe

Data driver. Crowe’s efforts were instrumental in maintaining the continuity and momentum of Army network modernization priorities in 2020. She led an all-star team to quickly find a way to reduce the time it takes to integrate sensor data into firing platforms. She also spearheaded a Technical Exchange Meeting with more than 700 industry partners, conducted an assessment of emerging technology to meet operational needs, and developed evaluation criteria and a prototyping plan to gain soldier and leader feedback that will inform future network design goals. In addition, Crowe’s vision and commitment were essential in the development of the Orion Forge DevSecOps environment at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
