Cyber architect. Under Haugh’s leadership, the 16th Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) hit full operational capability in 2020, amid a spike in cyberattacks spurred by the global pandemic. Haugh, who also serves as commander of Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber under U.S. Cyber Command, led the integration of the Air Force’s and Space Force’s intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and cyber, electronic and information warfare operations. Thanks to his singular ability to manage the large organizational and cultural shifts involved in that effort, the Air Force has solidified its capabilities in an increasingly digital battlefield.
