Calling all weary warriors

Human Touch, a company that provides massage and wellness products, is looking to thank the troops by giving away a massage chair valued at $4,000. One lucky service member who enters could receive the Human Touch® AcuTouch™ HT-7450 Zero Gravity massage chair.

“We know that a soldier’s work is extremely physically and psychologically demanding,” the company says on their website, “and so all of us here at Human Touch want to show our gratitude with the gift of relaxation and wellness in a luxurious Human Touch® massage chair.” Actually, however, the company doesn't want to give every interested service member a chair -- just the winner of the contest.

Service members, their family or friends can enter by submitting  an inspiring or unique story (no more than 300 words), and describe how the massage chair will help cope with the stress of military life. Be aware, though, that the company's interest seems to be as much about self-promotion as honoring soldiers. Eliglble entrants must also be a fan of the company on Facebook, and the blog entry includes this odd instruction:

Please incorporate relevant keywords, such as: massage, stress relief, freedom, U.S.A., army, navy, etc. (tailored according to your involvement in the military), Human Touch massage chairs, and AcuTouch™ HT-7450 Zero Gravity massage chair.

Details can be seen on a video, or interested parties can get more information on the website. Deadline is Aug. 15.
