Census director leaving

U.S. Census Bureau Director Robert Groves is leaving in August to become the Provost at Georgetown University, according to an April 10 report by FedScoop.

Groves has been in charge of the census bureau since 2009 and directed the completion of the 2010 census. He previously was a professor at the University of Michigan.
